A project where artists were allowed to freely remake the Stan Smith. "Stan Smith" being one of my all time favorites, my intentions were to make only minimal changes and came up with the idea to embroider the original vent holes on the side. Instead of transforming it to something totally different I tried to keep the original "Stan Smith" looks.
「自由な表現方法でスタンスミスをリメイクする」 というプロジェクトに参加。アディダス・スタンスミスは、 以前より自分の好きなスニーカーだったので、 あまり手を加えたくないという気持ちがあった。 そこでワンポイントだけ加えることにし、 もともと側面に空いている通気穴を利用して、刺繍という手法を選んだ。 手を加えて別の物に見せるのではなく、 あくまでスタンスミスの良さを尊重し、｢やりすぎないこと｣を意識した。
